TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
variability is the norm
Through our training and professional development, we coach educators, administrators, artists and staff from cultural organizations to become more inclusive practitioners, create universally-designed programming, and develop policies and practices that encourage meaningful inclusion and participation by people with disabilities.
FOR ARTS AND CULTURE ORGANIZATIONS
Open Door Arts provides training and support to help staff, administrators, and educators in Arts and Cultural institutions to ensure that their policies, practices, and programming are welcoming and inclusive to all patrons and participants. We customize the content and format of our trainings to support front of house staff, ushers, docents, educators, administrative staff, and leadership.
We offer additional consultancy opportunities to provide targeted services, such as developing tools and documents including preview guides and intake forms, and connecting organizations to user experts.
